Ottawa Royals trio Jorge Gutierrez, Roberto Gutierrez and Matthew D'Angelo have been invited to try out for Canada's Universiade Games Team.
The Universiade is an international muulti-sport event, organized for university athletes by FISU, the International University Sports Federation. This year, the tournament is held in Bangkok, Thailand, from August 8 - 18.
There are two try-outs in Canada. The Gutierrez brothers will attend the Toronto sessions, this weekend, while D'Angelo (who is presently touring China with the St. Mary's University team) will fly to Vancouver for the second session.
